More progress screen grabs from the book...

I'm now starting to get to the specific graphics look within the typography, and developing a series of graphics along this theme of time (represented by the 15) and developing the date 150696 and 150611 graphics.

Screen grabs Part 2 40 page PP Book

Latest development work on the 40 page book for my PP module project sub, the non 'Whistles and Bells version'. I have screen grabbed a selection of the pages showing the layout of the spreads and the continuity. This book is not a 'story tell' but more a visual collection of images and graphics, supplemented with quotes and personal thoughts of the time and the photography I have undertaken to establish the 'graphic identity' of the creative look I wish to develop into the more creative exploration areas later after this 1st submission in mid January.

These 2nd set of screen grabs shows close up some of the specific graphic styling and photostyling technique, I'm using on the images and graphics.

Progress being made on the 40+page book for PP Sub...

After the slump in confidence early in the week, and the frustration with the suddenly lack of concentration and focus on my creative direction with this project, everything is now back on course. I have completed laying out the 40+ pages of the book (toying with the idea that this may have to be Part 1 & 2, because of the size of the material? but hey this is all part of the process. I have 2 options on covers. This book will be 12" x 12" square and possibly and outer box or case?

I will post some of the pages to show the creative development of the look, in the next few days.

Latest work not happy with progress...

I was hoping to post some of the latest development work for my Personal Project form the last few days, but to be honest I was having a look through this last night, and it's crap, no really, there's no focus, the typography is not resolved, and I feel that it's not up to the standard I would expect, and I would certainly not present this, especially to my group this afternoon. I set myself a high standard and expect the same of my students and my work.

Also it is very difficult time for me at the minute especially due to a family bereavement yesterday which has taken my focus away from my studies.
